Sponsorship

The Parent Friend Association of Wells-next-the-Sea Primary and Nursery School are sponsoring me and Barnaby Bear to raise money for the school.

The Map

This is the route from Lukla Airport to Everest Base Camp.  We are also visiting Kala Pattar, which is even higher than Base Camp.

Who's who?

Here's me doing what I like to do best, that is walking in the mountains.  That must be why I live in Norfolk!

Who's who?

This is Barnaby, all ready for the Big Adventure.

What's it all about?

I am celebrating my retirement from being headteacher of Wells-next-the-Sea Primary & Nursery School http://www.wells-next-the-sea.norfolk.sch.uk/, by trekking to Everest Basecamp.  I am being accompanied by Barnaby, the school bear.

We leave the UK on 10th October, 2010 and arrive in Kathmandu the following day.  After two days of sightseeing, the real adventure begins when we fly to Lukla and start the trek.
